Weese Langley Weese has won a 2002 Distinguished Building Award from the Chicago Chapter of the American Institute of Architects for the renovation of the Wabash YMCA. The AIA Chicago Design Awards recognize significant achievements in the planning, design and execution of recent building projects.
The Friends of Downtown have named the Allerton Hall Renovation at the Art Institute of Chicago by Weese Langley Weese as "Best Renovation" in their 2002 awards, given in May of 2002. Founded in 1981, the Friends of Downtown is the voice for intelligent planning and urban design for downtown Chicago
