Cicero & George Elderly

Chicago, IL

2016

This project for Hispanic Housing Development Corp is located on the near northwest side of Chicago on a busy commercial street and adjacent to an undeserved but stable residential community. The building will be 6 stories and have 70 units with parking and community services on the ground floor.
The exterior is articulated to better weave itself into the context and to look as if it was developed over time. It is built with vertical floor to floor windows and brick masonry offset with aluminum panels cornices and perforated aluminum balcony panels.

Amenities for the tenants include walk out or Juliet balconies, 9 foot ceiling, large deep living spaces, floor to floor windows, protected parking and an exterior patio.
