St Leonard‘s House, a not
for profit organization that provides permanent and transitional
housing for ex-offenders, developed the Michael Barlow Center
as a job training facility for their resident. |
The building services include
facilities for computer and restaurant training; classrooms
for GED courses; and facilities to serve in house business
such as mail processing and landscaping. |
The building was designed
to fit the varied existing historic town house streetscape
with its placement close to the street, and stone and brick
detailing and a reduced residential scale. |
