This extensive remodeling of the ground, main and mezzanine levels of the Allerton wing in the original 1893 Art Institute building includes new mezzanine floor decks added to create new program space.

Renovation of the Department of Prints and Drawings includes expanded art conservation and storage facilities and a new suite of curatorial offices. Renovation of the 1897 Fullerton Hall Auditorium includes the restoration of a Tiffany stained glass dome, expansion of the stage, a new projection booth and new lighting.
